When It's Spring Time In The Rockies

I believe this has been one of the longest winters I have endured. I am so looking forward to Spring, flowers, sunshine, the sound of sprinklers, lawnmowers and a motorcycle going by. None of these things can be seen or heard in the dead of winter. Maybe the sun peeking through every now and then, but those days are few and far between with all of the inversion in Utah. So, here's to Spring and Summer -- and warm days ahead.

Glad to see a new post and I'm glad to here that you are recovering so well. I thought that maybe you had forgotten about your blog. I too love spring and am getting it early here. It has been in the 70's pretty much ever since we moved here. Now I understand why grandma and papa live here in the winter. I think i'll be thinking differently come summer.

Mom~I had fun doing your new playlist. All of these songs remind me of you and brought back lots of memories too. I searched and searched for some Barbara Mandrell but couldnt' find it. Hope you like these.

it was so fun to get together with you. I love your fam and feel so comfortable laughing and telling jokes. It was just a fun night...too bad the other girls couldn't be here....now you just need to convince my mom to start a blog.......

Shauna - I didn't know you had a blog too! I have been having so much fun checking out your kids' blogs - I keep waiting to see brand new baby pics! And your grandchildren are SO CUTE! Hang in there for spring - at least you'll have a spring. We just get more gray, rainy weather here in the Pacific NW!

Aunt Shauna, this was my first visit to your blog. I've always enjoyed the way you write, I loved to get letters from you when I was on my mission and I look forward to your family Christmas letter each year. Congratulations on your 2 new grandbaby boys! I wish I could send you a little bit of Texas Spring, it's just beautiful here right now, the jasmine is in bloom and the real heat and humidity haven't arrived yet.
