I believe this has been one of the longest winters I have endured. I am so looking forward to Spring, flowers, sunshine, the sound of sprinklers, lawnmowers and a motorcycle going by. None of these things can be seen or heard in the dead of winter. Maybe the sun peeking through every now and then, but those days are few and far between with all of the inversion in Utah. So, here's to Spring and Summer -- and warm days ahead.

CHARITY NEVER FAILETH
I am serving as Relief Society President in our ward, and I love it!
I never thought you would hear me say that
after my first go around at it.
( Perhaps I am a little older? ). While Dave is out making a difference -- I can do the same things here at home. My calling takes up the many hours that I am home by myself, and it keeps me "trying" to do the things I know to be right.
What more could I ask for at this time in my life?

Our Family in Ixtapa, Mexico
I bet you can't guess what one of Grandma Shauna's
gifts was to all of the kids for Christmas?
Yup, bright golf shirts for our family Christmas picture.
We had the wonderful opportunity of going with all of my family to Ixtapa, Mexico this past December during Christmas break. It was so good to be with ALL of the family; to laugh, talk, drink "Mormon" Pina Coladas, and look back on fun times we've had growing up.
Thanks Dad and Marilyn for this great vacation and memory!!

OUR GRANDCHILDREN.....SO FAR!

"Our 7 Loves"
This picture was taken on the
Salt Lake Temple grounds
June 15, 2007, the day that Angela and Aaron were married
and sealed in the temple.
This is one of my favorite pictures!
This is one of my favorite pictures!
Does anyone think that Collin ( sitting on Grandpa Dave's lap)
looks anything like his Grandpa Dave and Uncle Aaron?

DAVE'S PROMOTION TO GENERAL
We're Proud To Be An American!
Saturday, January 3, 2007, Dave was promoted to the rank of General. It was a day steeped with tradition. I am so proud of both a husband and son who serve their country, and my other kids that honor our country and the beautiful American Flag. This was a day to remember.
